Changes You’ll Be Seeing Around Here Soon

Over the past few weeks I’ve become more decisive with my decision making, especially in terms of the direction this blog will continue heading in. I’ll continue to provide great product reviews, spotlights on new Mac applications, tutorials, personal opinion articles and more. I also have a few extra things I’ll be adding to make the blog a little more enjoyable both personally for myself, and for you.

The 9:45 PM Evening Rule

Recently I have far too often been browsing blogs, responding to email, and chatting to collueages over Skype in the late hours of the night.Let me tell you this is not a good routine for someone who is waking up at 6AM every weekday morning. It doesn’t put me in the best position to be focused on studying the next morning.

Reader Feedback: Personal Blogging

As of recent I’ve had to keep away from my WordPress install, due to the fact that I’ve increasingly been wanting to write more personal opinion posts about topics currently (and currently not) in the news. This inspiration to get more personal has mainly been pushed into my head from one blogger, Khoi Vinh of [...]

Glenn’s Typical Morning Routine

It’s taken a lot of trial and error to find the right structure to my mornings, but I think I’ve finally found the right one. Last night I sat down and worked out a morning routine, it looks like this. Wake Up at around 6AM. I like to rise early as the two times I [...]

GlennWolsey.com Widget: Version 1.0

Last evening I was clearing out my inbox in Mail, filing important emails, deleting spam, and replying to the stacks of Mail which required action. In the cleanup, I discovered an email from Greg Abbott. In his email, he attached a GlennWolsey.com Dashboard Widget as a little thanks for the invitation I sent him to [...]

GlennWolsey.com Version 3.0

GlennWolsey.com has been begging for a stylish design since the day the blog was launched. I’ve always wanted a theme which drives me even further to write, and keeps my blogging energy alive – yes, a theme can do that. That’s why I used part of the recent donations collected to help fund paying web [...]

Gaming Giveway: Want A Free Game?

I’ve got a few games to give away which I received around a year ago from Feral Interactive, a large gaming company for the PC and Mac. The full games include the original DVD case and packaging, and have never been played. Commandos: Battle Pack Ford Racing 2 Tropico If you’d like one of the [...]

Why I’m Quitting ReviewMe

ReviewMe is a service where companies can purchase a review on a blog. The review must be over 200 words, but as some dont understand, it doesn’t need to be a positive review to be accepted. I have decided to close my account on ReviewMe for a few reasons. 1. The reason most of my [...]

Lurker Roll Call: The Second

It’s been a while since we last did this, so I decided to take a few moments to post and request all the lurkers to show their faces so I can get to know you all. I know many of you just read (yes, thats you), but never participate in discussion under the articles in [...]

Reader Feedback: Blogging Topics

This week my goal is to find my blogging voice, you can help me do this by telling me what you like reading about. After a quick brainstorming session I’ve decided to keep my main focus on Apple, Productivity, Blogging, and Photography. In that order. What topics do you enjoy reading, what topics do you [...]

Subscribe To The RSS Feed

As I have received a few email queries recently, this is just a quick post reminding readers that this blog does have an RSS feed – it’s located at the bottom of the page a little out of sight. I will be moving the feed image toward the top of the page when the blog [...]

New Year Resolutions

New Year Resolutions, I have never bothered with them in the past – but today I’m changing that. Instead of resolutions, here’s a group of 5 goals I would like to fulfill in 2007. Learn, and have fun in the process I want to start learning because I enjoy it, and have fun in the [...]

Quick Note On Top Readers Plugin

Just a quick little post to let everyone know that the “Top Readers” plugin will be resetting on January the 1st (in other words the commenters count will be set back to 0 for the plug-in), and continue to tick for a further year. This will give newcomers a chance to get their name in [...]

What Technology Did You Buy This Year?

It’s come to the time to wind down and review and look at the year which has almost passed. I’m doing a little review of what technology purchases I made personally this year. In other words this doesn’t include birthday or Christmas gifts, only objects I bought myself. MacBook Core Duo I had been eyeing [...]

What Apps Did You Buy This Year?

At the moment there’s a lengthy discussion going on at Lifehacker about software that their readers have purchased this year, technology blogger Paul Stamatiou decided he would turn his purchases into a blog post, so I’m doing the same. Here is a list of the applications I have paid for this year and am planning [...]

Blog Tag: 5 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

This is how the game works: I tell you five things that you might not know about me, then I tag five people. They do the same, and each of them passes it on to 5 other people. The game was started by Jeff Pulver. He started by tagging the video blogger, Steve Garfield. Here’s [...]

I’m Heading Away For A Week

Hey guys, just a quick post letting you know that I will be away from tomorrow morning for a week. I’m off to a cricket tournament for the Bay Of Plenty and will be unreachable for the time. In other words, I’m going to be absent from technology in the next week…refreshing. Have a great [...]

I’m Rocking With 9rules

Wow, today’s been pretty eventful. This afternoon I went over to the dentist for a check-up, then went to the mall to finish my Christmas shopping. When I got home I popped open Mail and saw an email from good friend Paul Stamatiou congratulating me on been accepted into the 9rules network. I’ve been checking [...]
