If you're writing to share your thoughts, because you feel your thoughts have some value, then traffic be damned -- write what you think. Contribute something. Make it pesonal. Write the blog YOU'D want to read. But if your goal is simply to create a go-to blog for something, anything, it-doesn't-matter-what... the sure, write about the one Jawa who puts the control devices on R2. Heck, why not... you'll be the expert. Woohoo. Go you.
