Music Video Overlay In iTunes
Apple June 18th, 2008
A MacThemes Forum member earlier today posted this image with the following statement attached.
“This app is really running, and it’s so awesome. But it makes me want to buy so much more music on ITMS”
I’d love to see what Apple could have in store for us in the future with its Google/YouTube relationship. They’ve already done exciting things with the iPhone and the Apple TV together, I’m sure that wont be the last we see from the partnership.

I’d still rather they get downloadable movies and TV shows for the Australian iTunes store before any other fancy stuff. We’re still waiting.

Well congrats on the new store in Australia! You would think they would have more there. :\
I also love the iMovie+youtube integration.

Ya, I expect more from the Apple-Youtube relationship.
I expect some more association with iTunes and youtube soon.

Free music videos maybe?

Not sure I want YouTube’s low quality nonsense anywhere near my iTunes. If I specifically want to watch a music video on YouTube, I think I’d rather just go there. If I’m looking for a music video inside of iTunes, chances are I’m looking for a high-quality one.
Plus I doubt anything like this would be officially done by Apple anyway. They have a quality standard as well, and I doubt YouTube meets it. Also I don’t think they’d cannibalize music video sales by showing you the video for free, nor do I think the music industry would be happy with Apple for building that integration, since most of the music videos on YouTube were uploaded unofficially.

I’m glad to see some of the new integration as well.
