Yes - I was indeed hacked yesterday. I didn’t expect it to stir up so much conversation in the community. The Digg homepage piece contains over 450 comments, a number which is very rarely achieved on an Apple related Digg piece.

I’d like to quickly thank all the people who have sent me emails offering words of kindness, my designer Andreas Lengyel, and the great guys at my host, Media Temple for their excellent support and precautionary measures over the past 48 hours.

On the topic of Mac fanboyism, this is something I struggle to understand and will be writing about in the near future. Just because some weblogs write primarily about the Mac and Apple, it doesn’t mean they can be labeled as ‘fanboys’ right off the bat. It doesn’t make sense, I don’t understand the logic behind it.

Why is is because my main focus is Apple, that I, and other bloggers alike are labeled this way. I don’t see people hammering other bloggers writing about many other specific technology topics as been ‘fanboys.’

Now, back to regular operation. I’ll have another large post live in the next 30 minutes.
