Desktop Friday: The Thirty Fourth
Photography August 10th, 2007Each and every Friday I post a desktop wallpaper which I have taken personally on travels and outings with my Canon 350D. The wallpaper is sized at a resoultion of 2560×1600 pixels, big enough to be used on a 30 inch Apple Cinema Display, so no-one will miss out.

I thought it was “Graffit”? lol. Anyways, the shot doesn’t look amazing to me.

Not ‘all that’ amazing to me either, however I like the contract between the fence and the red graffiti on it.

I’d straighten the photo a bit, maybe tone down the highlights a bit, and use the rule of thirds to compose the red graffiti in a less centered position to the right. Also I might play with the color saturation and/or tone. My attempt on the right: http://tinyurl.com/ytz8ht

Am with Jakob, plus if you really want to concentrate on the contrast maybe crop in so that is pretty much all you see? The bit you are wanting to show is sort of lost in the overall pcture.

I don’t like this photo at all. It’s very boring.

Agree with Jakob Glenn - I would crop right down to just highlight the graffiti.
