Desktop Friday: The Twenty Seventh
Photography June 1st, 2007Each and every Friday I post a desktop wallpaper which I have taken personally on travels and outings with my Canon 350D. The wallpaper is sized at a resoultion of 2560×1600 pixels, big enough to be used on a 30 inch Apple Cinema Display, so no-one will miss out.
Peeling Paint

Feel free to leave any comments or constructive criticism about this wallpaper below - it helps me grow and learn the art of photography. If you have suggestions for Desktop Friday, feel free to shoot me an email. Have a great weekend!

Took me a second to figure out what I was looking at! I like it a lot though.

Wow I thought that was a military airport seen from Google Earth, skewed a little. That was weird.

I think that is one of the best you have taken - specifically the ‘creativity’ to see the shot and use just a section of the building to reflect the derilect state of the whole construction.

I must be in Star Wars mode or something. When I first looked at this image I thought it was a detail shot of ILM’s Death Star trench model. Whao, what a trip, great pic!

Lighting isn’t great, not my style. Comp is pretty bad.

Beatiful shot, though like many have said, it doesn’t exactly look like peeling paint at first glance, but it’s really cool!

This is probably your first decent wallpaper IMHO.
Well done.
I get a 5D next week and some L series glass to play with - I’ll have to try my own.
